Having about 75 cosplay clips as extra B-Roll for an interview video coming out later this week, I decided to slop it all together to make a montage video of the 2015 Calgary Comic and Entertainment expo.
Also, I just enjoy the word 'montage'.

As far back as I can remember, Trevor and I have always wanted to do movie reviews for people like us.
At 14 years old, we wanted to see a "Siskel & Ebert" type show, aimed at our demographic. (And maybe that would play between episodes of the 90s "Spiderman" and "Batman: The Animated Series")
Well, over 15 years later; We've realize our childhood dream! We hope you enjoy.
Some thoughts were spurred by some quotes I read, and some reflection about the posted short film; and they turned into this Vlog.

This was also the first video shot on our new Panasonic GH4, and our first video with the new intro, and our first video in 4K.
Part labor of love, part catharsis of being totally burnt-out... a script that is half short-film, half thoughts-from-places-vlog, and part reflective-video-diary.... REST was shakily smattered into existence.

Just for fun, two edits were done with (almost) the same footage, mostly as an experiment to see how editing style and music can alter a video.
Take a look for yourself!

Expanding skills at After Effects, and trying our hand at cartoon animation, an attempt was made to animate Panimated's fan art of the Hello Internet podcast, hosted by CGP Grey and Brady Haran.

Our first stab at an educational video!
We tell the Bermudian vacation story of using Time Lapse footage from an iPhone to observe the movements of some little sea creatures.
Educational? Maybe? Entertaining? Also maybe? New end-screen? Yes.
A video made entirely of time lapse footage show with an iPhone 5s and the app "Miniatures"; This video is a time lapse of Wolf Creek Public Schools replacing equipment with Chromebooks.

In an effort to increase the quality of videos, adding moving shots and slow-motion was a requirement to the next video: What was born was a multi-person collaboration of insanity:

In true video form, an apology to some wonderful folks, for my breaking of their toys.
Complete with some motion graphics and slow-motion humiliating pool-splashing.
I decided to accept Hank Green's challenge and participate in NOVW, the Nerdfighter Online Video Workshop.
I went with a SciShow script, and participated in review and commentary with others in the community.
